What is PokeGen?
Download Linux
PokeGen is a Pokemon data editor for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, and Black and White 1 & 2. It works from a computer and can interact with a game by using one of these: an Action Replay, a flashcart, or a GTS sending program.
PokeGen focuses on making Pokemon editing easy, while still keeping Pokemon legal in terms of the game itself. Pokemon generated by other programs are more likely to look “hacked” than a Pokemon generated from PokeGen.

How To Use Pokegen
Pokemon: Generations is a version of the Nintendo classic recreated in three dimensions, with spectacular graphics and a much more dynamic combat system than the original.
In Pokemon: Generations, the main objective is still to capture pokemon to add to your collection and make them fight against others. What changes radically are the mechanics behind the battles. In the Nintendo games, combat was turn-based; in Pokemon: Generations you will control each pokemon and fight in real time.
Once you've defeated your opponent, you go back to controlling the pokemon trainer. In that moment, you can throw your pokeballs to capture the pokemon that you've just defeated. Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Ratata.. practically the whole first generation of pokemon will be in Pokemon: Generations.
In any case, what really stands out in Pokemon: Generations are the excellent graphics. Thanks to the Unity motor, the game offers carefully designed 3D models with an excellent anime aesthetic.
Pokemon: Generations is an outstanding role-playing, action, and adventure game which will no doubt thrill fans of the Pokemon franchise.
